GreenStreet is a 570,000 square foot mixed-use destination located in the heart of downtown Houston, featuring four-city blocks of premier office, retail, dining and entertainment options. Originally constructed and completed in 2008 as Houston Pavilions, Midway first acquired the property in 2012 and in 2013, redeveloped and branded the asset as GreenStreet. In 2015, Midway recapitalized GreenStreet with Lionstone Investments to execute the final phase of the project’s repositioning. Now providing one contiguous experience, and the redevelopment of 2nd story retail as creative office space, the destination is strategically positioned to leverage Downtown’s energy as a vibrant 24-hour urban core, and serve as an important anchor in Downtown’s shopping and entertainment district.
Hotel Alessandra, developed by Midway, is a new 223-room luxury hotel slated to debut at GreenStreet in mid-2017. The addition of Hotel Alessandra marks the continued partnership between Midway and Valencia Group, operator of the highly acclaimed Hotel Sorella in CITYCENTRE. Joining the entertainment, retail, dining and creative office environment at GreenStreet, the hotel helps fill the growing need for more accommodations and an elevated hospitality experience in the area.
