Jimmy Hinton
Managing Director, Research

Mr. Hinton serves as Managing Director of HFF, responsible for the firm’s national research efforts. Mr. Hinton works with the executive management team to assist in investor relations, strategy and to inform both HFF staff and firm clients with in-depth analysis of economic, property and capital market trends. He is also responsible for providing market reporting, client presentations and deal-specific analysis for Debt & Equity Placement and Investment Advisory assignments. Mr. Hinton’s responsibilities include substantial interaction with pension funds, insurance companies, regional and CMBS lenders, REITs, foreign investors and private equity funds.

Prior to his role as Managing Director, Mr. Hinton worked at Cadence Bank, N.A. (fka Community Bancorp, LLC), a de novo bank holding company formed in 2009 to invest $1 billion of equity in distressed financial institutions. Mr. Hinton’s responsibilities included mergers and acquisitions, investor and regulatory relations, corporate governance and CRE loan portfolio management.

Prior to Cadence Bank, Mr. Hinton served as an Associate Director, Research and Real Estate Analyst at HFF, underwriting, valuing and facilitating debt and structured finance transactions, as well as equity placements.

During his tenure at HFF, Mr. Hinton has supported the execution of more than 200 commercial real estate transactions totaling more than $5.5 billion in more than 20 states. Mr. Hinton has experience in fixed- and adjustable-rate debt, mezzanine debt, construction loans and joint venture executions on behalf of clients engaged in the acquisition, development and recapitalization of property types including multi-housing, industrial, office, retail, medical office and storage properties. Mr. Hinton first joined HFF in February 2005 after working in the private wealth management industry for two years.


Doug Goff
Managing Director

Doug Goff is a Managing Director for Hines, responsible for supporting portfolio acquisitions across product types and company-level pursuits. Doug has been with Hines for 10 years and previously led international acquisitions & asset management for two non-traded REITs sponsored by Hines during which time he acquired and managed over $2.5 billion of assets in seven countries. Prior to Hines, Doug worked for HFF, Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison, and served in the Peace Corps. Doug graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and received his MBA from Georgetown University.

Catherine Justice
Freddie Mac

At Freddie Mac Multifamily, Catherine Justice is responsible for conventional multifamily originations throughout Texas. Catherine opened the Houston regional office for Freddie Mac in 2015 as a Senior Producer.  In her current role as Production Manager, Catherine leads a team of Producers in Dallas and Austin.  In partnership with the Freddie Mac Seller Servicer network, she has worked to originate acquisition and refinance debt exceeding $8 billion.  In 2018, she contributed to the growth of Freddie Mac’s market share in Houston, nearly doubling annual volume to $3 billion. Prior to Freddie Mac, she worked at MidFirst Bank, Jones Lang LaSalle and CBRE.  Catherine graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in finance.

Andy Lusk
Head of Acquisitions

Andrew Lusk leads Lionstone’s Acquisitions team, overseeing all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, pricing, bidding, and closing. Additionally, he manages communication with brokers and operating partners, and sourcing capital for current and future funds. He serves as a voting member of the Investment committee. Prior to joining Lionstone in 2011, he worked in the Real Estate Investment Banking group at Goldman Sachs where he helped execute various strategic advisory transactions and capital raises. Previously he worked in acquisitions at LaSalle Investment Management. Mr. Lusk is a graduate of Dartmouth College and received an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
