    ABOUT 3201 ALLEN PARKWAY 

    3201 Allen Parkway is the reimagining of the former Star Engraving Company Building into a modern retail, creative office and restaurant project in the heart of Inner Loop Houston. Once home to the Houston Children’s Museum and later Stages Theatre, the nearly 100-year-old building sits on a mature, tree-lined bluff off Allen Parkway, directly across from the award-winning Buffalo Bayou Park. The architecturally-sensitive redevelopment was designed by acclaimed architect Perkins + Will in conjunction with landscape architect SWA Group.  Noted Houston architecture firm Perrin Projects is designing the project’s interiors.

    Situated at the heart of Houston’s 160-acre Buffalo Bayou Park, 3201 Allen Parkway fronts one of the country’s great urban green spaces. The building is directly across from the park’s most popular segment, where cyclists and joggers exercise and nature lovers queue at the Waugh Drive Bat Colony. The highly prominent location has frontage on multiple streets and is one block from numerous restaurants and a flagship Whole Foods Market.  

    3201 Allen offers users a historic and unique structure with modern design features including 12-foot exposed board-form concrete ceilings, a plethora of private outdoor patios with covered canopies, large operable steel and glass windows, and skylights that deliver an abundance of natural light.
