Leah is a partner with PwC with 20 years of experience in PwC’s Asset and Wealth Management practice. Leah has specialized in the real estate industry throughout her career, leading audits for public real estate companies and lending institutions, real estate investment trusts, real estate investment funds, and various other real estate developers and managers. Leah is a certified public accountant in Texas and a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Miranda Hadamik

Miranda Hadamik is the Executive Vice President of Investments at Caldwell Companies, a leading real estate development firm in Texas. Since 2010, she has played a pivotal role in managing the investment side of the business and driving company strategy and operations. Miranda helps source new capital relationships for both institutional and private equity investors, as well as overseeing the financial structure and performance of the company’s assets under management, which includes residential, commercial, multi-family communities. Miranda has a Bachelor’s in Marketing and Master’s of Real Estate from Texas A&M University where she also played on the Women’s golf team. She also currently serves as Chair of the Lone Star College Foundation.

Scooter Hicks
President
MetroNational
Scooter Hicks serves as President of Houston-based commercial real estate developer MetroNational. In his current leadership role, Scooter is responsible for implementing the company’s overall business strategy and overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations. He also serves as head of the company’s private equity investment fund. Scooter joined MetroNational in 2013 as a Leasing Associate and was named Chief Operating Officer in 2015, later transitioning to Chief Investment Officer in 2018. Prior to MetroNational, Scooter worked as an analyst for AIG originating commercial real estate loans in the South and Southeast U.S. regions.
Scooter holds an MBA with a real estate emphasis from the University of Houston Bauer College of Business (’11) and a BS in Finance from the University of Missouri (’09), where he was also a member of the Tigers’ Division 1 Baseball Team. He takes an active role in the community, serving on the boards of the Spring Branch Education Foundation and University of Houston’s Bauer College of Business, and is also as a member of Houston’s First Baptist Church. In his free time, Scooter enjoys watching the Houston Astros, fishing, golf, and playing piano.

Bailey Jones

Bailey is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Portsmouth Real Estate Partners, where he leads the firm’s residential investment strategy.
Bailey has over 19 years of experience at highly regarded real estate private equity and development organizations, where he has focused on acquisitions and development, capital markets, operating partnerships, and fund formation. Bailey has led investments across markets nationally in residential, office, retail, hotel, and mixed-use sectors with particular emphasis on value-add and development strategies.
Prior to founding Portsmouth, Bailey spent ten years at Lionstone Investments where he served as Head of Acquisitions. During his tenure with the firm, he led the acquisitions team, served as a voting member of the investment committee, and was instrumental in establishing Lionstone’s platform for ground-up development concentrated in Texas and North Carolina. His previous roles include positions at Alliance Bernstein’s real estate private equity group in New York and The JBG Companies in Washington, DC.
Bailey received an undergraduate degree in Economics and Public Policy from Duke University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he majored in Real Estate and Finance. He lives in Houston, Texas with his wife and their four children.
