Eric Hudson is a founding Partner and Principal of Design Services at
Method Architecture. He oversees the firm’s Design Services department responsible for Sustainability, Design, Quality Control, and Technology. A
Houston-native, Eric received his Bachelor’s in Environmental Design from Texas
A&M and Masters in Architecture from the University Houston. Eric and his
teams have worked on adaptive reuse projects such as
MKT, East Village, and East
End Maker Hub. Eric is President-Elect for the University of Houston College of
Architecture and Design Alumni
Board and also sits on the board for Spring
Spirit, a local children’s non-profit. Method Architecture is an ego-free architecture and interior design firm
with offices in Houston, Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio. The firm provides
design services for an array of project types including breweries and
distilleries, industrial, retail, office, and tribal work.

Veronica Chapa Gorczynski

East End District
Veronica Chapa Gorczynski is the President of the East End District, a geographic area serving approximately 16 square miles east of downtown Houston. The District’s services include public safety programs, an award-winning graffiti abatement program, maintenance of major thoroughfares, and disposal of illegally dumped trash. The District’s grant-funded capital program focuses on connecting neighborhoods and business to transit and resulted in $31 million in improvements through 2017, with an additional $45 million in new investments pending during her tenure.
A native of the Rio Grande Valley, educational and job opportunities have taken Veronica to live in San Antonio, New Orleans, Washington DC, Austin, and now Houston. She is formerly the Executive Director of Early Matters, a historic coalition of business, civic, education, philanthropic and non-profit organizations, working together through a collective impact approach to raise awareness about the importance of high-quality early childhood education as investment in the Greater Houston community. She has worked in government, non-profit organizations, and education efforts—always focusing on ways to help the community gain resources and investment. In 2010, she was recruited by Mayor Annise Parker to join the administration as a Deputy Director of the Housing & Community Development Department to assist in an organizational turnaround and deploy almost half a billion dollars of federal investment throughout Houston.

Kirby is a Director at Lovett Commercial and is focused on creative projects that have city wide impacts. Kirby previously worked as a leveraged finance banker and before studying architecture at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design. Kirby graduated with distinction from Dartmouth College.
Lovett Commercial, founded in 1994 is a Houston-based commercial real estate developer with projects across Texas. The firm specializes in urban redevelopment and grocery anchored retail centers with a growing list of undergoing and completed projects.
Rebecca Reyna

Greater Northside Management District
Rebecca Reyna is a native Houstonian and fifth generation Texan having grown up in the Northside. She has been with the greater Northside Management District since April 2007 and was the District’s first
full-time employee.As Executive
Director, Rebecca is proud of the growth of the District and the work that she
has done to build and strengthen the role the District plays in the Northside.
Under Rebecca’s leadership, the District has grown from one staff to four
full-time employees, 20+ part-time employees and several contractors.Rebecca is one of the few Latinas in the role
of executive director in the Houston area and manages one of the largest Districts
with 24 square miles. Numerous projects
have been completed, and the District’s first major infrastructure project is under
design.Rebecca attended Houston ISD schools
and received her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University - Corpus
Christi.She has worked on her master’s degree
in public administration at the University of Houston.
