EXAMPLE WORKSHOP AGENDA
(based on previous year, and is subject to change):
Lesson 1: Define Success
In our first session, you will have the opportunity to dream big and re-imagine your professional self in a way that allows you to feel the way you want to feel. You’ll look around you for examples of people or organizations who have created the experience that you are looking for, and be open to your own way. We will think beyond real and perceived limiting factors, and create what would be ideal for you.
Lesson 2: Laser Focus for Impact
Participants will learn to differentiate between the areas where they excel and those areas that are challenging for them and then discern if there are any opportunities for development that are desirable. Clarifying what your areas of focus are can allow you to live more intentionally, and develop an action plan that allows you to be proactive about how you spend your time and energy.
Lesson 3: Stronger Together
Women in this program will be supported as they learn to develop and enhance relationships with other women in real estate. Tools will be offered for productive conversations that will allow participants to ask for what they want, navigate conflict effectively, and give and receive feedback in a way that enhances professional relationships.
Lesson 4: Cultivating a Resilience Practice
Participants will gain the tools to navigate the inevitable obstacles that occur on the path to success. Expect them! We will address the logistical challenges and best practices to carve out sacred space to generate the person you want to be and the results you want to achieve. Identifying the barriers to your goals, you’ll commit to implementing tangible shifts that protect your process and support you in moving forward.
Lesson 5: Under Construction
In this module, you’ll commit to being a work in progress; you’ll commit to being brave, succeeding, messing up, learning from your experiences, and giving yourself the time to reflect. This will help you put your key learnings into action with the intention of elevating the outcome or process.
Lesson 6: Success is a System
Participants will report progress on their plan for continued action for developing and maintaining relationships with women who are more seasoned in their careers as well as women newer to the industry. They will also be reaching out to a colleague who may benefit from some of the knowledge they have gained as a result of this workshop with the intention to share and encourage them as well as potential mentors to create opportunities for continued development and engagement in ULI/WLI.
